COMBAT CAPABILITIES DEVELOPMENT COMMAND
The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) plays a central and multifaceted role in current drone warfare efforts, serving as the Army's primary research and development hub for addressing both offensive and defensive unmanned systems challenges.
DEVCOM comprises one research laboratory and seven technology centers, including the Aviation & Missile Center and C5ISR Center, with over 13,700 personnel including more than 10,000 engineers and scientists.
