DECENTRALIZED MODEL PREDICTIVE CONTROL
Decentralized Model Predictive Control (DMPC) is highly relevant to drone technology and has significant implications for both the offensive and defensive scenarios we just analyzed in the DEW research. Model Predictive Control (MPC) is an advanced control strategy that: (1) Uses mathematical models to predict future system behavior; (2) Optimizes control decisions over a prediction horizon (e.g., next 10-30 seconds); (3) Executes only the first control action, then re-optimizes (receding horizon approach); and (4) Handles constraints and multiple competing objectives.
