DRONE MESH NETWORKS
Mesh networking in drone technology refers to a communication system where multiple drones create an interconnected network by communicating directly with each other, rather than relying solely on a central control point or ground station.
In a traditional setup, each drone communicates individually with a ground control station. With mesh networking, drones can: (1) Relay communications through other drones in the network; (2) Share data and sensor information across the entire swarm; (3) Maintain connectivity even when some drones move out of direct range from the ground station; and (4) Automatically route messages through the most efficient path in the networkDMN000 - Drone Mesh Networks - Research Questions
