Ukraine represents the most significant current demining challenge - approximately one-third of its territory (an area the size of Florida) is estimated to contain explosive ordnance, with an estimated 2 million landmines laid since the Russian invasion. The Ukrainian government estimates an area larger than Greece will need surveying.
