KROPYVA - UKRAINIAN COMBAT CONTROL SYSTEM

KROPYVA represents a paradigm shift in tactical combat control systems, demonstrating how commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) Android technology combined with NATO-compatible standards can create highly effective battlefield solutions. Developed by the Army SOS volunteer organization starting in 2014, this tactical-level command and control (C2) system has proven its operational effectiveness across multiple Ukrainian military units, with over 10,000 installations deployed by 2023.
