MEERKAT OPTIMIZATION ALGORITHM

The Meerkat Optimization Algorithm (MOA) is a nature-inspired metaheuristic optimization algorithm based on the social behavior of meerkats. It was developed relatively recently (around 2020-2021) and mimics how meerkats organize their colonies, with behaviors like foraging, sentinel duty, and territorial defense. MOA has been applied to various optimization problems including: Engineering design optimization; Feature selection in machine learning; Path planning and routing problems; Parameter optimization in neural networks
